Hello, I understand this shader will basically cut the square into 9 bits, and when you scale it, it makes it all smooth and nice, now, I want to make a game that has a window system, basically, you will have a title bar, and the title bar has text in it, just a string maybe, and then the middle will have a text, is this possible with your shader, do you know?
Yes, I recommend using Active System Box for the text since you can resize it. That's what I did in my Dialogue Tree Editor that I was working on... You'll need to position it according to the edges of the object (left and top positions), you can use the width to find the center as well for centered text.
Ahhhh, thanks mate I actually needed to find a way to display text :) I knew about system object, but I just didn’t think about it being viable, so it’s good to know that the pros are using it that way. :)
Actually mate, I wanted to ask, do you reckon we could create a bundle with this? I’d like to make a framework for UI, because I personally struggle with UI, and having a foundation would be nice, and so I was thinking about also selling it, would you be interested in making a bundle with it? as it would use your shaders (Legally I can’t include them, but if you wouldn’t mind, we could bundle it together so that people can just go buy it all at the same time)
Are you interested? If so, what is your discord? I can add you and we can discuss it.
Edit: Specifically, I am referring to the “itch.io bundles” I am not saying that I put your shaders in my project* just to clarify. Max will be fusion will spit out an error, “Can’t find 9-slice shaders”
Let me see if I understood, you mean that we could make a bundle, and itch would sell both products, you would get your part and I would get my part as well, automatically? If that is a thing, it would sure be interesting! How can we set that up?
Hey! I totally hear you. I'm working on a new version for this I couldn't do it before because of DX9 limitations, but I think I know a few new tricks that might work for working around these. This will come as a free update, so please follow me and you'll be notified once it's done!

Yes, so basically, you would go to your page’s dashboard, and select “Promotions” and select “Co-op bundles” which I think is what you would want.
Well, let me know once you have a product to bundle ready
No option to do repetition instead of scaling, so it's good only for menu backgrounds and not game objects unfortunately... :-(
